Officepoint is unique amongst dealer groups in the way that it works with its supplier partners. We believe that the most critical supplier relationship that our members have is that with their preferred wholesaler. With the right agreement in place, that single supplier can satisfy the vast majority of our members’ product needs.
However, to get the best possible terms, we must in turn make commitments to them, and that is why Officepoint, uniquely, has a solus wholesale relationship with Spicers. Spicers are the largest office products wholesaler in Europe and we are their largest customers. Our terms across the whole of their range are flexible and competitive, with several options available. Members can choose between net terms, trade less 15% and a retro of up to 18% (based on total spend) or trade less 24% and a smaller retro.
In addition to the standard terms, we have also negotiated net prices for all of the products in our Business Catalogue, which provides an additional 3,000+ discounted net priced products, all of which also qualify for marketing rebates.
For EOS (Electronic Office Supplies such as Inkjet and Laser Toner cartridges) products, where members may choose to buy outside of Spicers, we have terms with ISA International, the UK’s largest consumables distributor.
Whilst we encourage members to purchase through these wholesalers, we also have direct trading relationships with manufacturers and distributors for critical ranges such as paper and envelopes. We also work very closely with all of the major manufacturers to ensure that we can offer our members the latest promotions, samples, product information and so on.
